RACHEL RICHARDSON - MILLINERY

Alongside my career as a designer I have maintained my connection within the millinery world. In 2009 I won hat designer of the year which lead me to supply my range of handmade hats into retailers such as Fenwicks, Lucia via Roma, Club 21 among others. I have been featured in a number of publications and fashion editorials. 

I am a co founder/member of The British Hat Guild, of which Stephen Jones and Philip Tracey are members. Last summer I was invited to be on the panel for the first 'In talks with' series, an online ticketed discussion on the hat industry.

I have taken part in 'London Hat Week' events, teaching a course entitled 'How to sketch a hat' as well as being part of their online resources.

Recently I was interviewed for their podcast in conjunction with Morley College.

I am a regular contributor to 'The Hat Magazine' providing 'sketch book' pages based around a theme.
